About The Position: The Assistant Transloading Operator position supports daily site operations in Ulysses, Kansas. This is a full-time, year-round position designed to provide operational support, backup coverage, and development opportunities within the transloading facility. A description of the duties includes: Assist with daily operational tasks including loading and unloading railcars and trucks carrying greases, fats, and oils for use in the biodiesel and feed markets. Assist with operating and monitoring equipment and support start-up, operation, and shut-down processes. Perform routine preventive maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and maintain a clean, safe work environment. Work collaboratively with team members, truck drivers, vendors, rail personnel, and management to support efficient operations. Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements: High School Diploma or GED preferred. Prior experience in operations, transloading, logistics, manufacturing, agriculture, energy, or industrial environments is a plus. Ability to work overtime and weekends as required. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and frequently lift up to 50 lbs. Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
