Job Description: TIG WELDERAn industry leader in the design, manufacturing and distribution of custom stainless-steel equipment for the food service, plumbing and materials handling industry is looking for experienced TIG welders responsible for fitting and welding of stainless steel parts using TIG process. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESo Set up welding machineso Read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine the specific welding requirementso Fit and TIG weld stainless steel components based on the specifications of the blueprints and/or drawingso Insure work conforms to prints and quality requirements.o Follow production plans and required daily output requirements.o Assists with material cutting and preparation as needed. Including sawing, grinding and deburring.o Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilitieso Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given tasko Follow all safety rules and quality standardso Work together with team members to maximize productivity and efficiencyKNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTSo High School Diploma or equivalent preferredo One-year related experience and/or training through a certified training facility.o Experience with stainless steel TIG welding requiredo Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently.o must be able to stand, kneel, stoop.o Ability to identify and measure material types and thicknesseso Ability to produce quality products consistentlyo Ability to follow instructions given both verbally and in written formo Must be reliable with a strong work ethic We are an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
