About the role
About the Team:
The Fund Services team supports the setup, launch, and ongoing lifecycle management of alternative investment funds. We partner with internal business groups and external service providers to ensure fund launches and lifecycle activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time.
About the Role:
This is an early-career opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to asset management operations, investment products, and the full fund lifecycle. Working alongside experienced team members, you will provide analytical and project coordination support for new fund launches and ongoing fund lifecycle events.
Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination
- Provide day-to-day project coordination for new fund launches and other fund-related activities
- Maintain project plans, launch checklists, trackers, and internal workflow tools under the direction of senior team members
- Schedule working-group meetings, prepare draft agendas, organize materials, and document meeting notes and action items
- Follow up with internal stakeholders on assigned tasks, required information, and upcoming deadlines
- Fund Setup & Data Management
- Set up new funds in firm systems based on fund documentation and internal information
- Collect and organize information needed for internal system setup and external service-provider onboarding
- Maintain accurate records for fund launches, fund changes, restructurings, and terminations
- Perform data validation to confirm information is complete and accurately reflected across trackers and supporting materials
- Reporting & Process Improvement
- Support the preparation of status reports, management updates, presentations, and working-group documentation
- Identify missing information, overdue deliverables, or potential process issues and escalate them to the appropriate team members
- Contribute to ad hoc operational projects and process-improvement initiatives
