Job Description: Experienced Licensed Pharmacy Technician Stone Drug | Spanish Fork, Utah
Experience Required:
2+ YearsUtah Pharmacy Technician License Required Stone Drug, a locally owned independent pharmacy, is looking for an experienced, dependable Licensed Pharmacy Technician to join our growing team. This position is best suited for a technician who already understands pharmacy workflow, works accurately and efficiently, and is comfortable taking ownership of their responsibilities. We are looking for someone who wants to build a long-term career with an independent pharmacy rather than simply fill a shift. Responsibilities may include: Entering and processing prescriptions accurately and efficiently Managing prescription workflow from intake through completion Communicating professionally with patients, prescribers, and insurance companies Processing insurance claims and troubleshooting common billing and rejection issues Managing refill requests and prescription transfers Preparing prescriptions for pharmacist verification Managing inventory, ordering, receiving, and medication stock Following all pharmacy policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal requirements Depending on experience, training, and interest, there may also be opportunities to become involved in additional areas of Stone Drug's operations and continued growth.
Required Qualifications:
- Current Utah Pharmacy Technician license
- Minimum 2 years of pharmacy technician experience
- Strong understanding of retail/community pharmacy workflow
Experience in independent pharmacy, compounding, inventory management, pharmacy operations, or leadership is a plus.
Compensation: Competitive and based on experience. $20-$25/hour
Schedule: Full-time OR Part-time – Flexible working hours, closed Sundays.
