Change Management Analyst ContractHybrid, NYC 3 days a week The ideal candidate will have a blend of change management, business, and technical exposure. We are looking for someone who has enough practical experience to contribute immediately while still being at a stage in their change management career where they are eager to learn and grow. We are seeking a Change Management Analyst to support technology and business change initiatives within the organization. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has a foundation in change management and technical/business analysis and is looking to continue developing their change management experience. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting technology or process changes and be comfortable working between technical teams and business stakeholders. This individual does not need to be deeply technical or a developer but should have enough technical aptitude to understand system and application terminology, ask the right questions, and understand how changes may impact different areas of the business.
Key Responsibilities: Support change management activities associated with technology, application, and business process initiatives. Develop formal communications for various stakeholder and user groups. Create and maintain project documentation and presentations, including PowerPoint materials. Maintain and update SharePoint content related to projects and change initiatives. Develop surveys and feedback mechanisms using Microsoft Forms. Assist with change impact assessments, including identifying impacted stakeholder groups and understanding upstream and downstream impacts. Gather information from business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements, changes and potential impacts. Support the development of training and user-adoption materials as needed. Communicate effectively with employees and stakeholders at varying levels of the organization. Work collaboratively with business, technology, and project teams to support successful adoption of change.
Desired Experience & Qualifications: Approximately 3–5 years of relevant professional experience, with hands-on exposure to change management activities. Foundational understanding of change management principles and practices with practical experience applying them. Experience supporting technology, systems, application, or business process changes. Business Analyst or similar project-support experience is highly desirable. Strong documentation and communication skills. Experience creating presentations and formal stakeholder communications. Experience with SharePoint and Microsoft Forms. Ability to understand technical terminology and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Understanding of requirements gathering and change impact analysis. Insurance and/or financial services experience is a plus. Experience with data, application support, product support, help desk or incident management environments is beneficial. Proactive, inquisitive, and comfortable asking questions to gather the information needed to move work forward. Ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of an organization.
