Job Description: Job Description Ken Do Contracting is hiring a skilled Heavy Equipment & Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of construction equipment, trucks, and trailers. This role is essential to keeping our field operations running safely and efficiently.
What You'll Do:
  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical components
  • Perform routine maintenance: oil changes, filters, lubrication, adjustments
  • Troubleshoot issues on excavators, loaders, skid steers, dump trucks, trailers, and other heavy equipment
  • Complete accurate service and maintenance records
  • Perform field repairs on job sites when needed
  • Identify parts and materials required for repairs
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Communicate repair status with supervisors and operators
This position plays a critical role in minimizing downtime, extending equipment life, and maintaining compliance with safety and environmental requirements. Strong problem solving skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work independently or as part of a field service team are essential. Fulltime, overtime, Monday-Friday hours and pay will be discussed in interview and based on experience. Paid time off after one year of employment.
