Qualifications: The YMCA of Sumter is seeking a professional, dependable individual interested in becoming a part of our team. Responsibilities include maintaining the highest levels of customer service and professionalism while interacting with members and guests; adhering to and enforcing any and all guidelines of the Health and Wellness Department; maintaining the cleanliness of the fitness center and all equipment; assisting members in the usage of all cardio and strength equipment. Minimum requirements include being 18 years of age, obtaining CPR and First Aid Certification within 90 days of hire, and having an enthusiastic personality, being mature, decisive, and responsible and putting the needs of members and program participants ahead of his/her own needs. A satisfactory outcome of background check prior to starting employment is also required. Starting salary is $9.00 based off of experience. Schedule is Monday-Sunday; times may vary.
