About the role

Full Time live-in ROTA (7 days on/7 days off) Nanny required for a warm and loving Miami Beach family with one infant (born Spring 2026) starting ASAP. Specific duties to be negotiated with the family, but in general, you will be responsible for all child related duties including providing nurturing care and interacting with their daughter in a fun, stimulating, and age-appropriate way. To be successful in this role, you will need to be someone active, love to travel and overall be a positive and engaging individual. The ideal candidates are flexible with their schedule, proactive, experienced with newborn, toddler and school age milestones and who appreciate direct communication with the family. Candidates who can ensure a calm environment and maintain discreet and professional boundaries will be a great match for this family. Portuguese fluency is desired for the role, however the family will consider all qualified and strong candidates.
Primary Location: Miami Beach, FL. The family travels frequently to their homes in New York and Colorado. Other domestic and International travel is also expected with this role.
Start date: ASAP
Schedule: Ideal ROTA schedule is 7 days on/7 days off with full flexibility to work 14 days straight (including weekends when traveling). Baseline hours expected of 60 hours/week +, with availability for early/late days, overnights and weekends. The family is looking for flexible candidates who can adapt accordingly during work hours to support the family's busy schedules. Children: One Baby Girl (Born: Spring 2026)Conditions: $120,000 - $140,000/annualized salary plus health care stipend, sick days *dependent on experience For further consideration, applicants must possess the following: Valid work authorization with valid passportA minimum of 10 years experience as a nanny (prior experience supporting UHNW families preferred)A well-suited demeanor for working infants and with toddlers Exceptional childcare references that attest to strong communication skills, reliability, punctuality, maturity and high emotional intelligence Education or equivalent knowledge of ages and stages of child growth and development Ability to complete all child related duties (including, but not limited to: meal preparation, cleaning up/tidying bedroom and play areas, laundry, researching and planning playdates and activities, etc An open and flexible schedule and ability to travel Portuguese fluency preferred (however, family will consider all qualified and strong candidates)Additional qualifications we look for: Training and certifications such as early childhood education, defensive driving, water safety certification, etc. A degree from a four year college Other skills include swimming, cooking and more If you'd like to learn more about our current roles, please visit our website: www.mde-ny.com/careers
