About the Role: The Company is seeking a Vice President, Legal Counsel to establish and lead its in-house legal function, advising executives and business leaders on legal, governance, compliance, and risk matters. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating commercial agreements; building contract-management and legal-intake processes; managing outside counsel, legal budgets, and disputes; and developing policies, compliance programs, and employee training. The role will also oversee sensitive investigations, youth-protection matters, data privacy, intellectual property, employment-law support, and corporate governance. The successful candidate will translate legal requirements into practical guidance and scalable processes across the organization. Candidates must hold a Juris Doctor from an accredited law school, be an active member in good standing of at least one U.S. state bar, and have at least 10 years of relevant commercial and corporate legal experience. They should bring substantial experience negotiating complex agreements, advising executives and cross-functional teams, implementing legal operations systems, managing outside counsel and budgets, and conducting investigations or administering compliance programs. Strong judgment, communication, analytical skills, discretion, and the ability to interpret multi-state regulatory requirements are essential. Experience in sports, youth programming, nonprofit organizations, licensing, privacy, or high-growth environments is preferred. Hiring Manager TitleChief Customer Officer FunctionsLegal

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
