About the role

Cleaning And Grounds Maintenance Clean and maintain common areas, hallways, lobbies, stairwells, elevators, and restrooms. Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors, furniture, and fixtures. Collect and dispose of trash, recyclables, and debris from common areas and grounds. Maintain outdoor areas, including sidewalks, courtyards, parking areas, and landscaped spaces. Remove snow, ice, leaves, and other hazards from pathways and entrances as required. Assist maintenance staff with minor repairs, preventative maintenance preparation, and work order support. Transport supplies, tools, and equipment as directed. Notify management or maintenance team of safety hazards, maintenance needs, or damages. Assist with move-in/move-out processes, including unit trash out and cleaning as needed. Follow all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE. Ensure compliance with property policies, safety regulations, and cleanliness standards. Report incidents, accidents, or unsafe conditions immediately. Provide courteous, professional service to residents, staff, and visitors. Respond promptly to requests for assistance within scope of duties. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times. High school diploma or equivalent. Previous custodial, groundskeeping, or property maintenance experience a plus. Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently. Willingness to learn and develop technical skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying. Ability to operate cleaning equipment, tools, and basic property maintenance equipment. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Availability for on-call or emergency tasks as required.
