Role Description:
The Office Administrator is a full-time remote role responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the organization’s administrative functions. This role includes managing calendars, scheduling meetings, maintaining digital records, and supporting internal communications. The Office Administrator will coordinate correspondence with partners and community stakeholders, assist with customer and community inquiries, and support basic bookkeeping and reporting tasks as needed. The role also involves managing office equipment and technology used in a remote setting, preparing documents and presentations, and assisting with logistics for virtual events and programs. The Office Administrator will collaborate closely with leadership and staff to provide reliable, organized, and timely administrative support.
Qualifications:
Strong Administrative Assistance and Office Administration skills, including scheduling, record-keeping, and document management. Ability to manage and use Office Equipment and related digital tools efficiently in a remote work environment. Clear and professional Communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal staff and external partners. Customer Service skills, including responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and supporting community and stakeholder needs. Proficiency with common office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email, video conferencing platforms).Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently. Experience working in a mission-driven, nonprofit, or environmental organization is beneficial. Relevant education or training in business administration, office management, or a related field is a plus.
