About the role
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience operating a Haas - Mazak - Siemens Okama, CNC and conventional machining equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Leadership skills
- Advanced proficiency in CNC programming and multi-axis machining operations
- Operate both mills and lathes with CNC controls
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications with precision
- Demonstrated expertise in precision measurement techniques and quality control standards
- Solid understanding of mechanical troubleshooting and equipment maintenance procedures
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments including micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and coordinate measuring machines
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, material properties, and machining tolerances
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and digital machining systems
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Preferred experience with tool design, fixture design, or process optimization
- Preferred knowledge of metallurgy basics and material selection for machining applications
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work area
- Performs other duties as directed
