Position SummaryOur Deloitte Strategy & Transactions team helps guide clients through their most critical moments and transformational initiatives. From strategy to execution, this team delivers integrated, end-to-end support and advisory services covering valuation modeling, cost optimization, restructuring, government operations modernization, business design and transformation, infrastructure and real estate, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and sustainability. Work alongside clients every step of the way, helping them navigate new challenges, avoid financial pitfalls, and provide practical solutions at every stage of their journey—before, during, and after any major transformational projects or transactions.Work You'll DoAs a Project - Senior Consultant, Strategy, Growth, and Transformation on the project, you will:Coordinate objectives, plans, and logistics with external operational staff.Develop test and data collection plans.Participate in planning conferences supporting exercises.Draft Test Plan/OPORD, Data Collection Plan and Analysis Plan based upon input generated during planning conferences.During exercises, assist ships' company in comprehending and executing plans, and ensure they collect pertinent data required to support exercise reconstruction and analysis.Communicate exercise results orally and in written formats to representatives of naval commands, engineering labs, and program offices.Assist in providing insight during ad hoc workshops and conferences.The successful candidate would possess these skills:Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a teamEffective written and verbal communication skillsMeticulous attention to detail and quality of work productAbility to build and sustain professional relationships Ability to lead projects or workstreamsAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentStrong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor Ability to meet deadlinesAbility to provide clear guidance to othersThe TeamDeloitte's Government & Public Services (GPS) practice – our people, ideas, technology and outcomes – is designed for impact. Their employment is tied to their role on a project, and they are eligible for a benefits package that is competitive for project delivery-focused professionals.QualificationsRequired: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience8+ years of US Navy experience4+ years of experience in planning naval undersea warfare (USW) exercise that coordinate multiple ships/unitsActive Secret security clearance requiredAbility to travel 0-30%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serveMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future Preferred: Bachelor's degree (ideally in a technical discipline)Capability of preparing reports and correspondence that are technically correctProficiency with common productivity software, including the Microsoft Office suiteFor individuals assigned and/or hired to work in San Diego, California, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to San Diego and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $93,200 to $155,400.
