About the role

To support a growing Sales organization, the full-time Commercial Counsel (Licensed) will manage day-to-day commercial contract negotiations for a high volume of SaaS customer deals while ensuring sound risk management and efficient deal cycles. Key responsibilities Draft and negotiate customer-facing SaaS agreements, escalating complex terms as necessary Support end-to-end commercial negotiations, balancing customer needs with company risk and compliance requirements Build scalable contracting processes and develop training materials for the Sales organization Required qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction 3-5 years of legal experience, with a minimum of 2 years in commercial/transactional work, preferably in-house SaaS Working knowledge of B2B SaaS agreements and data privacy frameworks such as GDPR and CCPA Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of concurrent contract negotiations effectively Experience with AI-powered contract review tools and familiarity with AI/ML contract terms is a plus
