About the role
- Lead engineering on facility projects from concept through construction and commissioning
- Develop plant and equipment layouts around process flow, utilities, access, safety and future expansion
- Oversee mechanical scopes and coordinate civil/structural, site and utility work
- Manage deliverables from consultants, EPCs, contractors and equipment vendors
- Review drawings and specs for quality, constructability and operability
- Solve field engineering problems during construction and startup
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil or a related engineering discipline 7+ years of engineering experience on industrial facilities, energy projects or heavy infrastructure
- Experience across both mechanical and civil scopes
- Track record delivering projects through design, construction and/or commissioning
- Experience managing contractors, EPCs or equipment vendors
- PE license, or FE passed and working toward PEOil & gas experience (upstream, midstream or injection sites)
- Greenfield builds or major plant expansions
- Hands-on field experience in construction, commissioning or plant operations
