About the role
- Support the daily sales operations of a building materials distribution center.
- Work with customers and co-workers to build solid relationships based on trust and competence.
- Able to handle detailed work quickly and correctly.
- Support a fast-paced environment with multiple projects going on simultaneously.
- Utilize the DMSi software Agility for order entry, purchasing entry, and customer information.
- Follow established guidelines, structure, and policies while working with and for others
- Maintain customer pricing records.
- Accurate order entry
- Follow up on all quotes and handle customer service claims promptly.
- Other duties as assigned Requirements: Required Skills/Abilities:

- Persuasive teaching style to communicate the company's products and services.
- Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Prior inside sales and customer service experience
- Minimum of 3 years' experience with inside sales, customer service, and/or marketing disciplines
- Industry experience preferred
- Work is conducted in an office/field setting with sedentary to moderate physical effort associated with using a computer, copier, etc.
- Ability to walk, sit, or stand for extended periods of time
- May be required to occasionally lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 25 pounds
