About the role
Our client, a global leader in energy management and automation, is looking to hire a Training Coordinator. This role is On-Site Monday through Friday, primarily on 1st shift with flexibility required to support 2nd shift operations as needed. This position will be working in Fairfield, OH! This job is a 6-month W2 contract role with benefits! As the Training Coordinator, you will drive hands-on onboarding and operational training across the manufacturing floor. You will be expected to conduct on-the-job instruction using standardized work methods, evaluate associate competency, facilitate equipment certifications, maintain training and audit records, and support safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent 2+ Years of training or onboarding experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or production facility
- Experience conducting PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) / Forklift assessments and certifications
- Familiarity with Job Breakdown Sheets (JBS), Standard Work (OWS/SOPs), or Lean/Kaizen concepts is a plus
What you will be doing:
- Conducting on-the-job training and system onboarding for new production associates using standard work instructions
- Performing PIT assessments, equipment training, and safety recertifications for floor personnel
- Maintaining up-to-date employee training documentation, audit records, and versatility tracking matrices
- Creating and refining training materials and competency evaluations
- Participating in continuous improvement, safety, and quality initiatives across the line
