Job Description: Assistant Project Manager - Award Winning General Contractor - Greenville will be responsible for: Support Project Managers in the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects. Assist with project documentation, scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, and overall project administration. Work across a diverse portfolio that includes both ground-up construction and renovation projects. Help ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards. Collaborate with field teams, subcontractors, owners, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Gain exposure to multiple market sectors including institutional, education, healthcare, retail, light industrial, restaurants, faith-based, and multifamily construction. Report directly to a Project Manager from the Greenville/Spartanburg office. Support a growing team as the company continues to expand throughout South Carolina. The Successful Applicant: Assistant Project Manager - Award Winning General Contractor - Greenville should have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
  • Approximately 1+ year of construction experience preferred
  • Interest in building a long-term career within commercial construction.
  • Understanding of construction processes, project coordination, and jobsite operations.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Commercial construction experience is a plus.
  • Eagerness to learn from experienced construction professionals and take on increasing responsibility.
