Tire Retreading Technician General Labor (Warehouse)

Location: San Antonio, TX 78219

Pay: $15.00 per hour Day Shift | $16.00 per hour Night Shift

Schedule: MonThurs 5am-3pm DAYS | Mon-Thurs 4pm-2am NIGHTS (must be available consistently to work overtime on Fridays and Saturdays)

Job Responsibilities: Inspect used tires for visible damage, wear, and defects. Assist with preparing tires for the retreading process. Buff and remove worn tread from tires using specialized equipment. Clean and prepare tire surfaces for application of new tread. Assist with applying new tread materials and preparing tires for curing. Operate tire processing equipment and tools as trained. Move, lift, roll, and position heavy tires throughout the work area. Inspect finished tires for quality and workmanship. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company safety procedures and supervisor instructions.

Job Requirements: Must be comfortable performing physically demanding labor throughout the shift. Must be able to work in a warehouse environment with extreme heat. Ability to stand, bend, lift, push, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods. Comfortable working around industrial machinery and equipment. Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow safety procedures. Reliable transportation and consistent attendance. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous experience in tire manufacturing, tire mounting, retreading, production, or general warehouse labor is a plus.

Work Environment: This position is located inside an industrial tire warehouse. Candidates should expect: Hot working conditions, especially during warmer months. Continuous standing and physical activity. Repetitive lifting, handling, and movement of tires. Exposure to industrial machinery, noise, and tire-related materials. A fast-paced, production-oriented work environment.
