About the role
Cabinet Maker
Responsibilities:
Construct and assemble cabinets according to blueprints and specifications Measure, cut, and shape wood using power tools and hand tools Install hardware, such as hinges and handles, onto cabinets Sand and finish cabinets to ensure a smooth and polished appearance Collaborate with designers and clients to ensure cabinets meet their expectations Inspect finished cabinets for quality and accuracy
Experience:
Previous experience as a Cabinet Maker or similar role Proficiency in working with various materials, including wood, laminate, and veneer Knowledge of cabinet construction techniques and industry standards Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Familiarity with CNC machines for precision cutting Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
Skills:
Proficient in using power tools such as saws, drills, sanders, and routers Experience with hand tools including chisels, hammers, screwdrivers, and clamps Knowledge of plastering, stuccoing, roofing, masonry, mold remediation is a plus
