Product Manager - HCM

Product ManagerThe product manager will partner with developers to conceptualize solutions that expand and improve human capital systems. As the business partner for internal customers who are the main users of these systems, you will be responsible for understanding business needs, specifying technical requirements, prioritizing product roadmaps, and providing support for existing applications. This dynamic position offers a broad view of the proprietary systems and third-party products that make up the firm's human capital systems landscape. Ample opportunities will be provided to partner closely with leaders in human capital, business operations, information technology, and our international software development teams.We are looking for candidates with a bachelor's degree or higher who have three to seven years of relevant work experience. Preference will be given to those who have been actively involved in product management for complex software implementations within an agile environment. Experience designing and implementing data warehouses is a significant plus.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, organizational skills, a dedicated client service mentality, a knack for rapid problem solving, an aptitude for translating the needs of non-technical systems users into technical requirements, and an ability to see how small details interrelate and impact the bigger picture (i.e. systems thinking) are all critical for this role. Applicants with expertise in technical writing, process mapping, process re-engineering, and data modeling will excel in this role.The willingness and ability to dive into details, collaborate effectively with teammates of varying technical knowledge, drive projects to completion, and exercise extreme discretion with confidential information is also essential.
