Assembler Tester 1Our client, Manufacturing is seeking a Assembler Tester 1 to join their team. As a Assembler Tester 1, you will be part of the Production team supporting daily manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, a strong safety mindset, and the drive to meet production goals which will align successfully in the : Cranston, RI
Pay Range: $21.48
Shift: 1st Shift (6am-2:30pm) or 2nd Shift (4pm-12:30am)
What's the Job? Perform basic assembly of parts and products according to Manufacturing Process Sheets (MPS) and Bills of Material (BOM).Review daily work orders in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to determine what to process. Operate basic equipment and use common hand and pneumatic tools as instructed, completing standard tests after each assembly step. Maintain accurate inventory of materials for production orders and update the ERP for work performed. Keep your workspace clean and organized, follow safety policies and PPE requirements, and report issues to the Team Lead or Supervisor. What's Needed? High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.3 months of mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Competence operating a computer and completing basic data entry in systems (ERP).Ability to learn assigned responsibilities and follow production procedures; able to attain Manufacturing Process Sheets (MPS) training sign-off within 90 days. Physical dexterity for hand and power tools, and ability to push, pull, lift, and/or move materials up to 30 lbs; use hoists for materials over 30 lbs; attention to detail and clear communication in a team setting.
