Fabricator – Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced
Fabricatorfor atemp-to-hire opportunitywith a growing manufacturing company. This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working from blueprints and precise measurements.

Job Responsibilities:

Read and interpret shop orders, blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Verify correct raw materials and work-in-progress materials before beginning work
Fabricate parts usingstainless steel, mild steel, and aluminum
Set up and operatepress brakes
Select the proper tooling for bends and progressive bends
Bend and joggle materials to specified dimensions and tolerances
Measure finished parts and ensure accuracy and quality
Maintain required workmanship and tolerance standards
Complete production paperwork and documentation
Identify discrepancies with prints or parts and notify the Team Leader
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPEPerform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Previous fabrication or related manufacturing experience preferred
Ability toread and understand blueprints
Experience operating apress brake
Ability to accuratelyread a tape measure
Strong basic math and measurement skills
Excellent hand-eye coordination
Ability to work with stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminum
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Basic equipment maintenance or repair knowledge is a plusLEAN manufacturing experience is preferred but not required
