What does a Manufacturing Process Engineer Intern do at Swire Coca-Cola? Manufacturing Process Engineer Interns assist with identifying and driving out losses through the development of standards and systems. They support the daily activities of the production line(s) and/or processing areas. They build long-term capability into the manufacturing process, systems, and technicians.
Job Details: This position is for a summer Internship from May 2027 - August 2027 in the Salt Lake City, UT, area.
Responsibilities:
  • Identify, prioritize, analyze, and eliminate losses and inefficiencies
  • Collaborate with the Line Structure Teams to carry forward and execute improvements
  • Assist in analyzing line performance including run rates, scrap rates, unplanned and planned down times, and any other operational losses including Safety and Quality opportunities
  • Identify 1-3 actions to reduce these losses and create a project charter and scope for each action
Requirements:
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Process, Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial) or equivalent related program
  • Graduation date of Aug 2027 or later
  • Available to workfull-timefor the duration of the summer(May - August 2027)
  • Must not require sponsorship to legally work in the U.S. (i.e., H-1B, TN, OPT, CPT, O-1, E-3, or any other work visas), noworin the future
