Our team is looking for an Account Executive who will own the full-cycle new business motion for our Pharma Commercial (PH COMM) offering in the US market. As the commercial engine for PH COMM in the US, you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with pharmaceutical clients by presenting and selling data and AI-driven commercial solutions that address their business needs. The Account Executive will maintain an understanding of pharma commercial trends, data platforms, and AI applications, ensuring that clients receive strategic guidance and high-quality service. We are building focused commercial teams at C&F, each aligned to a specific business unit, and this role will play a key part in driving the growth of PH COMM in the US. Success in this role requires more than strong relationship-building skills. We’re looking for a commercially minded professional who can bring a strong point of view to the client’s business, challenge conventional thinking, and introduce fresh perspectives on data, analytics, and AI. In this role you will engage confidently with senior stakeholders, including VPs, SVPs, Heads of Commercial Excellence, Heads of Data, and AI Leads, and lead strategic conversations about transforming commercial organizations. As an Account Executive you should feel comfortable connecting business challenges with relevant technology solutions and discussing their value independently, without relying on continuous support from technical experts. The role also involves collaborating with internal technical and delivery teams to align solutions with client requirements, monitoring account performance, and providing regular updates and forecasts. You’ll also work closely with the PH COMM business unit, Go-to-Market, and Marketing teams in a fully integrated, day-to-day triangle with one common goal: winning and growing new business. We’re looking for someone who is curious, forward-thinking, and commercially driven, with a genuine interest in AI, Data, and Digital and the ability to turn that knowledge into meaningful conversations and new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Own the full cycle for PH COMM new business in the US, from first contact to qualified opportunity.
Identify new business opportunities, reach the right decision-makers, run discovery, build qualified pipeline through to opportunity and new business, lead client meetings and presentations, prepare proposals, and negotiate contracts to achieve revenue targets.
Cooperate with BU and Technology experts + Marketing liaison dedicated for PH COMM Build and work a named list of fit accounts: top global pharma enterprises headquartered in the US or Western Europe.
Run insightful discovery conversations, challenge assumptions where appropriate, uncover strategic business needs, and connect them to innovative data, AI and technology solutions.
Educate prospects on emerging trends in commercial data, analytics and AI, helping shape their thinking and identify opportunities they may not yet see.
Able to collaborate effectively with solution architects, delivery leaders and subject matter experts while remaining the commercial leader of the opportunity.
Keep the CRM accurate so pipeline and forecast can be trusted.
Feed market and offering signals back to the team.
Attend external and internal events representing the company and hunting for new opportunities.
Qualifications:
US based in NJ/PA area, able to cover accounts headquartered in the US and Western Europe.
Candidates should possess strong Account Management skills, including client relationship building, stakeholder engagement, and retention strategies.
Candidates should possess Sales and Sales Management skills, such as pipeline development, deal negotiation, forecasting, and achieving revenue targets.
Candidates should possess experience in Sales Operations, be familiar with Pipedrive or a similar CRM, including CRM usage, reporting, and supporting efficient sales processes.
Full cycle sales experience in enterprise B2B selling data, analytics, or AI solutions within pharma commercial, life sciences, or comparable regulated industries is highly beneficial.
Sales experience with 500 Fortune Clients strongly preferred.
Proven ability to work on-site in a collaborative environment, prioritize multiple accounts, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
Strong curiosity about technology, especially AI, data and analytics, with the ability to discuss solutions confidently and credibly with both business and technical stakeholders.
A challenger mindset. Someone who is comfortable bringing new ideas to customers, respectfully questioning assumptions, and leading discussions rather than simply responding to requests.
Able to hold substantive conversations with senior commercial, data, and digital leaders in large enterprises.
Patient and strategic with long, multi stakeholder buying cycles, without going quiet between milestones.
Self directed and organized, able to build an account plan and work it consistently.

An existing network in pharma commercial or life sciences Experience in a startup, scale up, or new market or new offering build, where you had to create pipeline rather than inherit itBachelor’s degree in business, marketing, data/analytics, life sciences, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
