Job Description:
  • Refrigeration Technician
  • Crystal Spring Ice – Gloster, close to Shreveport, LAPay starting at $20/hour+ (based on experience)
  • We are looking for a reliable Refrigeration Technician who can
  • Repair ice boxes
  • Handle general maintenance around the ice plant
  • Troubleshoot electrical and refrigeration issues
  • Troubleshoot Thermo King
Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues on commercial cooling systems, ice machines, cold storage units, and ice merchandisers. Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance (cleaning coils, inspecting gaskets, checking refrigerant levels, calibrating thermostats, and descaling ice machine evaporator plates).Refrigerant Management: Safely recover, evacuate, and charge refrigerants Documentation & Inventory: Complete accurate digital work orders, track parts usage, and maintain a clean, organized company service vehicle. Capability to look for correct parts, and read data labels. Must have refrigeration experience and be dependable. It's okay if you do not know everything.
