About the role

An innovative Honolulu based organization is seeking a Senior Architectural Manager to lead complex architectural and multidisciplinary design projects from concept through construction. This role combines architectural leadership, project management, and client interaction while overseeing teams focused on high quality and technically sophisticated project delivery. The ideal candidate brings experience managing architectural projects end to end, coordinating across engineering disciplines, and leading teams in fast paced project environments.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor architects, designers, and multidisciplinary project teams
  • Manage projects from programming and conceptual design through construction administration
  • Provide technical and design oversight across architectural projects
  • Coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Manage project scopes, budgets, schedules, and staffing plans
  • Ensure projects meet code, zoning, and regulatory requirements
  • Serve as a key client contact throughout project execution
  • Support proposals, presentations, and business development initiatives
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
  • PE license required or ability to obtain Hawaii licensure within 1 year
  • 5+ years managing multidisciplinary design projects, 10+ preferred
  • Strong leadership and team management experience
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, or related design platforms
  • Strong understanding of project delivery, scheduling, and budgeting
  • Excellent communication and client facing skills
