Role Description:
The Financial Controller role is a full-time, remote position responsible for overseeing Envirosight’s financial operations and ensuring accurate, timely reporting. This role includes managing accounting activities such as general ledger maintenance, month-end and year-end close processes, and coordination with external auditors. The Financial Controller prepares and reviews financial statements, develops budgets and forecasts, monitors cash flow, and supports strategic decision-making with data-driven financial analysis. Day-to-day tasks also involve implementing internal controls, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations, optimizing financial processes, and collaborating with leadership on financial planning and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
Strong foundation in Accounting and Finance, with the ability to oversee core financial processes and internal controls. Experience preparing and reviewing Financial Statements and managing Financial Reporting in accordance with applicable standards. Advanced Analytical Skills for budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and supporting data-driven strategic decisions. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent professional certification is preferred. Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems, as well as strong skills in spreadsheets and financial modeling tools. Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with attention to detail. Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and leadership. Experience in manufacturing, industrial equipment, or infrastructure-related industries is a plus.
