Manager, Policy – Utility Partnerships & Innovation The Manager, Policy - Utility Partnerships & Innovation will play a critical role in executing CEBA's strategic policy initiatives, with a focus on CEBA's "activate utilities" initiative, which is a national initiative to accelerate utilities clean customer programs by putting growing customer electricity demand at the center of utility procurement and customer programs. This exciting role will help shape the future of CEBA's partnerships with utilities to unlock new areas of collaboration and partnership with utilities to serve growing large loads. This role includes overseeing high impact projects and leading engagement with stakeholders. This role requires strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills, as well as the ability to collaborate across teams and engage with external partners. The Manager will work closely with the Vice President, Regional Directors, Communications, and other members of the Policy Team to drive policy, market, or programmatic efforts that align with CEBA's mission. They will manage projects from inception to execution, coordinate cross-functional initiatives, and support CEBA's advocacy and stakeholder engagement strategies.

Required Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in a relevant industry: e.g., clean energy, policy, corporate sustainability, or utilities, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in a relevant field, or Master's degree and 3+ years of experience in a relevant field. Minimum 2 years' experience employed by, or engaged directly with, a vertically integrated utility in a regulatory, advocacy, or partnership capacity. Minimum 1 year experience in policy analysis, market development, regulatory process engagement, or program implementation. Minimum 1 year experience working with multi-stakeholder groups, coalitions, or industry initiatives. Strong ability to analyze complex issues, generate innovative solutions, and communicate recommendations effectively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with design of clean energy customer programs and ratemaking. Familiarity with regulatory processes, transmission policy, and/or utility business and planning processes. Knowledge of corporate, industrial, and institutional clean energy procurement strategies.
Compensation and Benefits:
The expected base salary for this role ranges from $105,000 to $120,000, depending on experience and qualifications. All CEBA employees are eligible to participate in the annual bonus incentive plan, which is based on both organizational and individual performance, up to 10% for this role.
