Role Description:
This is a full-time remote role for a Proposal Writer. The Proposal Writer will lead the development, writing, and editing of proposal responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and related solicitations. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing RFP requirements, outlining proposal content, coordinating with subject matter experts, and producing clear, persuasive, and compliant technical and business narratives. The role involves managing proposal timelines, maintaining version control, and ensuring consistency in messaging and formatting across all submission materials. The Proposal Writer will also support the creation of reusable content, contribute to proposal templates and style guides, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to continuously improve proposal quality and win rates.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess strong Proposal Management skills, including planning, organizing, and coordinating all stages of the proposal lifecycle.
Candidates should possess Proposal Writing and Technical Writing skills to create clear, persuasive, and compliant content for diverse audiences.
Candidates should possess experience working with RFPs, including interpreting requirements, compliance matrices, and submission instructions.
Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with internal teams and clients.
Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple deadlines, and proficiency with common office and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Office, SharePoint, or similar).Experience in proposal development for government or commercial contracts is preferred.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, take initiative, and maintain confidentiality of client information.
Pay: $50 - $60
