Accounting Lead | AI-powered SaaS scale-up | First Accounting hire | $120,000 - $165,000 + EquityI’m currently working with a Series A AI-powered B2B SaaS scale-up that is looking to make its first dedicated accounting hire in New York. The business has raised $30m in its Series A from a group of leading VCs and is building AI-powered software that is changing how law firms manage time, billing and legal work. The team is still incredibly lean, so this is a genuine opportunity to join early and have a significant impact.
The role: You’ll take ownership of the accounting function and help build the processes, systems and controls needed as the company scales. Profile:
  • 4+ years progressive accounting experience
  • Big 4 CPA & experience within a high-growth tech business
  • Has strong month-end close experience
  • Is highly proficient with Excel / Google Sheets & SQL(Plus)
  • Enjoys building rather than inheriting established processes
  • Strong with AI
  • Is comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Takes ownership and is happy to roll up their sleeves
