About the role
To support lease management functions, the full-time Lease Accountant will perform a variety of accounting tasks in accordance with GAAP and ASC 842, including lease setup, payment initiation, and documentation, while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
Develop strong relationships with department lease contacts to ensure accurate data and financial controls in lease processing
Evaluate and enhance lease processes for efficiency while adhering to internal control measures
Maintain lease software to ensure accurate financial data submission during month-end processes and assist with budget and audit documentation
Required qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance, or a related degree with a concentration in Accounting or Finance
Prior experience with Accounting Standards Codification (ASC) 842 or Lease Accounting
Proficiency in using computers and spreadsheet software
Ability to develop and submit analytical financial data as required
Experience in lease management and financial documentation processes
