About the role
Upholstery TraineeOFS, Leitchfield, KY, is currently seeking enthusiastic individuals interested in learning to upholster through hands-on experience and mentorship. As an upholstery trainee, you will be trained in all aspects of upholstery. This role is an ideal opportunity for someone with a strong interest in learning a skilled trade and who values attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Responsibilities:
Perform upholstery tasks including fabric trimming, and attaching material to furniture frames. Inspect materials for defects and ensure quality control throughout the upholstery process. Operate upholstery tools and equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements:
Strong interest and willingness to learn a highly-skilled, in-demand trade Basic experience with hand tools Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship. Ability to work in a team environment
