DepartmentPhlebotomy Job SummaryUnder management's supervision, the Phlebotomy Intern will have the opportunity to participate and learn about the various duties and responsibilities of a phlebotomist. The intern will have the opportunity to gain a better understanding of healthcare and more specifically patient experience and customer/patient satisfaction through a variety of assignments, such as shadowing staff in the field, learning some specimen handling and receiving skills, attending program meetings and trainings, as well as, a variety of other tasks.
Required Qualifications: Preferred QualificationsPrefer a willingness to learn. Prefer demonstrated knowledge of computers and commonly used applications. Prefer effective customer service skills and demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of staff and the public, both in person and by telephone.
