Position Summary: Prepare and display Chinese Kitchen food for sale in accordance with Company standards and policies. Wait on customers and provide customer services.
Essential Job Functions: Prepare and display Chinese foods in accordance with Company standards, recipes, and policies - in compliance with Health Department regulations. Check product quality; make sure it is always stirred and fresh. Keep sales areas, backrooms, and coolers clean and well organized. Keep carts, tools, and supplies in their designated areas. Keep floors clean, safe, and free from clutter. Wait on customers and counter promptly and cheerfully. Respond appropriately to customer or associate comments, complaints, requests, accidents and questions. Be prompt, tactful, calm, courteous and professional in all interactions. Make clean, neat, and friendly impression on customers. Greet customers and provide them with good quality foods. Operate cash register in accordance with Company procedures. Wash and sanitize cookware and utensils in accordance with Dillon and Health Dept. policies and procedures. Maintain proper signage, product rotation, freshness, quantity, quality and proper space allocation for merchandise. Adhere to company policies and procedures, particularly in the areas of dress code, grooming, sanitation and maintenance of a work environment free of unlawful harassment or discrimination. Assist as needed or assigned on special projects such as periodic inventories, store resets, remodels, special merchandising promotions, etc. Perform any and all duties as assigned. Behaviors/

Minimum Position Qualifications: Willing and available to work weekends and holidays as needed. Effective written and oral communication skills. Able to read shelf tags, signs, product labels, training materials, bulletins, etc. Ability to make intelligent decisions quickly. Ability to multi-task, set priorities, present information in a professional manner and work with all levels of the organization. Personal initiative and follow through to completion. Strong communication skills and diplomacy when dealing with people. Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment and willingness to help all members of the department. Able to tactfully and calmly handle stressful situations and make a positive impression on associates and customers. Possess abilities and skills for effective production, merchandising, and customer services related to sale of merchandise.
Desired Previous Job Experience: Past work record reflects dependability and integrity. Must be able to work with various cleaning solutions, safely use sharp tools, and carefully operate Chinese Kitchen equipment.
Physical Demands: Standing & Walking - Frequent standing & walking. Estimated total time 7.5 hrs. Maximum continuous time up to 4 hrs. Sitting - Rarely required. Estimated total time 30 mins. Maximum continuous time 30 mins. Lifting & Carrying - Max weight 50 lbs., average weight 10-15 lbs., distance carried up to 10 feet. Must frequently lift items under 10 lbs. and items between 11-25 lbs., and occasionally lift 26-50 lbs. Climbing - Frequently climb step ladder or step stool ranging from 1.5 feet to 6 feet tall. Other - This position also requires frequent bending, squatting, and kneeling, as well as constant use of either arm or both for reaching in all directions and at low levels. Other requirements include twisting, neck flexion/extension, cervical rotation, high grip strength, and frequent forearm movement.
