Internal Communications Lead, BU ServiceAs Global Internal Communications Lead for the Service Business Unit, you will lead internal communications for a global business operating across approximately 60 countries. You will develop and guide the internal communications approach that helps employees understand business strategy, transformation, growth ambitions, and priorities. The role focuses on translating complex business topics into clear communications, supporting leadership communications, employee engagement, dialogue, recognition, and participation across a global organization. You will work closely with communications teams and business leadership to align messaging, improve communication effectiveness, and strengthen employee connection to business priorities. The role also involves using digital, data, and AI-enabled communications approaches, measuring communication effectiveness, and improving engagement through employee insights. By helping employees understand business direction and organizational priorities, you will support alignment, communication effectiveness, and the execution of business transformation and growth initiatives.

You will work closely with communications teams and business leadership to align messaging, improve communication effectiveness, and strengthen employee connection to business priorities. The role also involves using digital, data, and AI-enabled communications approaches, measuring communication effectiveness, and improving engagement through employee insights. By helping employees understand business direction and organizational priorities, you will support alignment, communication effectiveness, and the execution of business transformation and growth initiatives. Build and lead a global internal communications approach, including editorial direction, communications planning, and engagement activities. Translate business strategy, transformation initiatives, growth ambitions, and priorities into clear employee communications. Advise senior leadership on communications during periods of growth, transformation, and change. Develop communications that turn strategy, performance, customer priorities, and transformation activities into accessible employee stories. Deliver communication campaigns, employee recognition activities, leadership dialogue, and engagement initiatives. Foster two-way communication by creating opportunities for employee feedback, dialogue, recognition, and participation. Enhance employee communications through digital, data, and AI-enabled approaches. Establish and use measures of communication effectiveness to improve engagement across the global organization. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. Your BackgroundCandidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States. Bachelor's degree in Communications or a related discipline. 10+ years of experience in internal, employee, corporate, or change communications. Experience developing and implementing internal communications strategies within a complex global matrix organization. Understanding of employee communications, leadership communications, engagement, storytelling, brand activation, and digital channels. Ability to translate complex business topics into clear communications for diverse employee audiences. Experience using communications data and employee insights to improve engagement and effectiveness.
