About the role

The University of Connecticut seeks a dynamic leader to serve as Head of the Department of Social and Critical Inquiry (SCI). This position is tenure-track at Professor rank, for a full‑time 10‑month appointment on the Storrs campus, with a start date of August 23, 2027. The Head will guide interdisciplinary areas across American Studies, Asian and Asian American Studies, Native American and Indigenous Studies, and WGSS, fostering inclusion and scholarly collaboration.
