About the role
HVAC Project Manager - Mechanical Servicing Company - Base Salary to 130k/year - Chicago, ILOur client, a commercial mechanical servicing company, has an immediate need for an HVAC Project Manager to be based out of the Chicago, IL area. The company provides commercial HVAC and mechanical solutions to building owners and facility managers. The HVAC Project Manager will oversee new construction HVAC projects from project handoff through completion, managing the full project lifecycle while maintaining existing client relationships.
Responsibilities:
Manage commercial HVAC and mechanical construction projects from project handoff through final closeout Coordinate drafting, submittals, production, material procurement, and project documentation Manage project schedules, costs, change orders, and material ordering throughout the project lifecycle Coordinate with field teams and serve as a liaison between project management, production, and field operations Participate in client and project coordination meetings Coordinate manpower planning and forecasting with field operations Track project costs, schedules, and progress through completion Manage project closeout documentation and project turnover Maintain and grow existing client relationships throughout project execution
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience managing HVAC projects Experience managing commercial HVAC or mechanical construction projects Experience with project scheduling, submittals, change orders, material procurement, cost tracking, field coordination, and project closeout
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary in the 100k - 130k/year range. Our client also provides a comprehensive benefits package, generous paid time off, 401k contribution, bonus and more.
