About the role

The Project Manager I to manage a portfolio of utility projects ranging from approximately $100K–$25M. Projects may include new transmission line construction, line rebuilds, substation construction, transformer replacements, and switchgear replacements.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and overall execution
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders and manage tasks throughout the project lifecycle
  • Track and report project financials with support from Project Controls
  • Manage risks, issues, and project decisions
  • Work closely with engineering, construction, and other project teams
  • Make occasional site visits as needed
  • Ensure compliance with safety and OSHA requirements
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of project management experience2-year college degree required; 4-year degree preferred
  • Experience with project management principles and practices
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Experience with scheduling and cost controls preferred
  • Utility industry and construction experience preferredPMP/CAPM, CMII, PE, or utility certifications are a plus
