DescriptionSAIC, a leading provider of systems development & deployment, targeting & intelligence analysis, systems engineering & integration, and training capabilities and solutions for the Intelligence Community, is seeking creative and dedicated professionals to fulfill their career goals and objectives while delivering mission excellence on programs of national importance. We are seeking a Data Systems Engineer to provide the following:Perform operational data curation to address data management and assure proper data entry of ODNI mission data into the IC Data Catalogue for improved data sharing and discovery. Interface with Data Stewards / Data Managers, and advance Data Librarian support across all ODNI DCOs to support data access, availability, and provenance.In collaboration with ODNI CDO / DIG, provide long term iterative improvement of a data quality framework to monitor and improve data reliability and quality.Asist in defining ODNI data assets. Develop and implement data processes, for verification, acquisition, mining, and modeling.Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements such as automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability. Perform data analysis required to troubleshoot data related issues and assist in the resolution of data issues.Assist stakeholders with data related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs. QualificationsActive TS/SCI with CI Poly is required, and we are unable to sponsor.Bachelor's and 8+ years of experience or a Master's and 5+ years of experience.Possess fluency in SQL and Python or R.Familiar with the Tidyverse open source packages (ggplot2, dplyr, tidyr, readr, etc.) and GitHub in order to develop and maintain methodologies for data cleaning, processing and analysis.Able to accurately query datasets, extract data and validate the data and results.Able to synthesize various datasets and write descriptive intelligence products for executive-level audiences.Familiarity with JIRA for project management purposes.Proactive self-starter and solution-oriented team-player that works well with others.Desired:IC / ODNI experience is highly desired.
