About the role
Job Description:
MIG welder (San Dimas, CA.)We are a leading job shop manufacturer offering laser cutting, sheet metal forming, welding and metal fabrication for a wide variety of companies that range from aftermarket to aerospace. We are seeking an experienced MIG welder. Candidates should have a good understanding of how to set-up their own machine and follow simple verbal instructions. Other duties may include Robotic Mig operation, grinding, deburring, saw cutting, drilling and other related fabrication work. Other requirements are as follows:
Measure and check your own work.
Lift up to 50 lbs.
Stand for long periods.
Read and interpret blue prints, weld symbols and drawings.
Fluent in English (speaking and writing).Maintain a clean and organized area.
Own and maintain basic tools and protective gear for your trade.
Work in a fast paced environment.
Work with low-mid volume production level quantities.
Work well with co-workers and management.
Drug/physical/criminal screening.
Weld test will be given.
This is a full time 6:30-3 shift with occasional overtime. We offer paid medical, vacation, paid sick time.
