About the role
Data Technician (226 Days) Revised Assist in creating user guides related to district adopted case management system and any related departmental support systems. Assist in testing of the latest version of the case management system software. Assist as needed with tasks related to user training (e.g. maintenance of trainee lists, maintenance of the training schedule, preparation of materials, and notifications/communication with individual trainees). Accurately enter data related to new users, user title changes, and other personnel-related services required for case management system access or the student file. Assist district staff by providing software functional support and inquiry resolutions. Assist department staff in identifying software problems as they relate to the case management system experienced by the user group. Perform data entry to maintain the department's database for accurate compilation of support data for reporting purposes. Research and submit student identification of users' discrepancies for corrections to the Student Information System. Maintain current user e-mail list for various user communications. Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned. High School Diploma or USA equivalency. Prefer two years of data entry experience in an organization specializing in customer support; data entry experience in a field of technology. Demonstrated task-oriented self-starter with the ability to perform with a high degree of accuracy. Demonstrated ability to learn the basic technical aspects of microcomputer usage, networking, and data communications. Demonstrated ability to communicate in a concise, professional manner, both orally and in writing. Demonstrated proficiency in the use of e-mail, Windows, and Microsoft products such as Word, Excel and TEAMS. Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all levels of district personnel.
