About the Role: T&T Produce is expanding its Chattanooga sales team and seeking a motivated professional ready to build your own book of business from the ground up. This is a hands‑on, outside sales role servicing existing customers while prospecting new business in the Chattanooga area driving growth by finding opportunities, starting conversations, opening accounts, and building long‑term customer relationships. While outside sales experience is a big plus, restaurant professionals, chefs, and culinary experts who understand fresh produce, customer needs, and kitchen operations are highly encouraged to apply. What You'll Do Prospect: Hunt for new business through cold calling, in-person visits, networking, and direct follow-up with decision‑makers. Pipeline & Growth: Build a sales pipeline, open new accounts, reactivate former customers, and expand accounts through strong relationships. Learn the Trade: Master T&T Produce’s products, pricing, inventory, operations, and sales processes. Collaborate: Partner closely with the local Chattanooga team to seamlessly service your customers. Track Success: Meet sales and margin goals while diligently tracking your daily activity and follow-ups. Who We're Looking For Required Qualifications: Comfortable with cold calling, in-person prospecting, and unscheduled business visits. Strong communication and interpersonal relationship‑building skills. Self‑motivated, organized, persistent, and disciplined with your daily sales activities. Able to thrive in a fast‑paced industry and travel throughout the Chattanooga area. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications: Background in restaurants, hospitality, produce, food service, outside sales, or territory sales. Proven track record of building a book of business. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. College degree is a plus. Compensation & Benefits Competitive Pay: Base salary plus commission structure.
