Role Description: The Community Outreach Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Silver Spring, MD. The Community Outreach Associate will be responsible for building relationships with community members, fostering connections with local organizations, and coordinating outreach initiatives. Tasks will include providing excellent customer service during events, and acting as a trusted advocate for the organization’s mission. The role requires a proactive and people-focused approach to strengthen community engagement This role also supports reporting on outreach efforts, helps identify new engagement opportunities, and represents Luxeron Group in a professional, inclusive manner at all community-facing activities.
Qualifications: Candidates should possess strong communication skills, including clear verbal presentation abilities and active listening. Candidates should possess relationship-building skills, including community engagement, partnership development, and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and stakeholders. Candidates should possess organizational skills, including event coordination, scheduling, time management, and accurate record-keeping for outreach activities. Relevant experience in community outreach, social services, education, public health, or a related field is benefical
