Aprio Advisory Group, LLC is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join their dynamic team.We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Business Analyst to help us drive our digital transformation and provide exceptional service to our clients and employees. This team member will partner with the Data Services agile team to drive end-to-end delivery by flexing across business analysis, backlog management, agile facilitation, and stakeholder communication to ensure the highest-value work is clearly defined, prioritized, and delivered.Position Responsibilities:Serve as a hybrid Senior Business Analyst and Agile delivery partner, supporting the Data Services team operating in a Kanban-based agile environmentOwn and actively manage the team backlog, including intake, refinement, prioritization, and readiness of work itemsFacilitate agile practices as needed (e.g., stand-ups, backlog refinement, planning, retrospectives), adapting approach based on team needs rather than rigid frameworksHelp keep developers focused and unblocked by clarifying requirements, dependencies, and acceptance criteriaTranslate complex business needs into clear, actionable user stories, functional requirements, and supporting documentationProactively identify gaps, risks, and process improvements, and step into project coordination or delivery roles when neededCollaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and technology adoption, and develop business cases to support these initiativesConduct thorough analysis of existing processes, systems, and data to identify areas for improvement and develop actionable recommendationsBuild strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and communicate effectively to ensure alignment of priority and drive adoption of changesDevelop and maintain subject matter expertise in relevant technologies and industry trends, and provide thought leadership and guidance to the organizationWork with the ePMO and all cross functional teams across Aprio to drive continuous improvementWork with all levels of the organization to introduce, design, and implement changes in business processes and application practicesApply system analysis techniques and procedures including interviewing various resources to gather required information, analyzing and documenting requirementsBe a trusted application advisor for development initiatives by providing objective, practical and relevant ideas, insights and adviceQualifications:4+ years of related experienceExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to build consensus and drive changeHands-on experience working with agile teams, including backlog management and continuous delivery models (Kanban experience strongly preferred)Strong understanding of agile principles and the ability to adapt practices pragmatically to fit team and organizational needsDemonstrated ability to manage and prioritize work in fast-changing environments with competing demandsSkilled at influencing without authority and driving alignment across cross-functional teamsKeen attention to detail, problem-solving and strong analytical skillsExperience documenting processes and practices, often in accepted project methodology artifacts, while effectively prioritizing multiple tasks, priorities, projects, and deadlinesProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills, and experience with project management software and data visualization tools$100,000 - $125,000 a yearThe salary range for this opportunity is stated above.
