About the role
We're seeking a Field Service Technician to support the commissioning, maintenance, and repair of load bank equipment used in mission-critical data center environments. This is a field-based role supporting customers throughout the Cedar Rapids metro area, with approximately 90–95% travel to customer sites. This is a 6-month contract position located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Make sure to read the full description below, and please apply immediately if you are confident you meet all the requirements.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Commission, troubleshoot, and maintain load bank equipment at customer locations.
Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and PLC/HMI-related issues.
Perform preventative maintenance and emergency service calls.
Document service activities and communicate findings with customers and internal teams.
Ensure all work is completed safely while following LOTO, PPE, and site-specific safety requirements.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
3+ years of industrial field service experience.
Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Experience with pumps, valves, piping, PLCs/HMIs, or similar industrial equipment.
Ability to work independently and travel extensively throughout the Southeast.
