About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Vice President Programs to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space. This leader will oversee a portfolio of complex programs and help translate enterprise strategy into disciplined execution. The role calls for a seasoned program executive who can balance customer commitments, financial performance, and technical delivery across multiple teams. You will be a key partner to senior leaders, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure programs are aligned, scalable, and executed with precision.
Location: Hagerstown, MD – US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.
Compensation: $231,574 – $318,414 annually.
Responsibilities: Lead strategic direction for aerospace and defense programs, aligning with corporate goals. Oversee financial performance including P&L responsibility and budgeting. Collaborate across teams to ensure program consistency and scalability. Guide program execution to meet timelines, budgets, and technical requirements. Build and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.20+ years of relevant experience, including at least 15 years in program management and supervisory roles. Strong program management execution skills with a results-driven approach. Proven track record of innovative leadership in complex program execution. Established relationships and growth results with Department of Defense (DoD) customers.
