Location: Rhome, TXPay$20.00–$25.75/hrScheduleMonday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM Saturdays as neededRequirementsHigh school diploma or GED1–2 years of welding experienceOverhead and jib crane experience requiredMust successfully pass a 2G, T-Joint, and Carbon Arc Air testExperience with flux-core and metal-core weldingAbility to read blueprints, welding symbols, diagrams, work orders, and other instructionsKnowledge of welding equipment, torches, Air Arc, grinders, and related toolsExperience using temperature sticks and welding fillet gaugesAbility to work in varying temperatures and overtime as neededResponsibilitiesPerform welding using wire welding equipmentWeld steel components according to blueprints, layouts, engineering drawings, work orders, and verbal instructionsWeld in flat and horizontal positionsSet up welding equipment and use jigs, fixtures, or hand layoutsWork with fitters and fitter/welders to fabricate and assemble multi-component partsOperate forklifts, hoists, slings, grinders, cutting torches, and other job-related equipmentInspect welds and make corrections as needed to meet specificationsPerform tack welding, clamping, grinding, heat bending, and boltingMaintain quality welds that meet production and UT requirementsMaintain equipment and a clean, organized work areaFollow all safety policies and proceduresMeet production and quality expectationsWork effectively as part of a team and assist with other duties as assignedWhat We're Looking ForThe ideal candidate is dependable, safety-minded, quality-focused, and willing to learn and cross-train. Candidates must be comfortable working in a production environment and able to maintain both quality and productivity standards. A weld test will be administered as part of the hiring process.#ZRB
