About the role
Site Security Automation Lead Richmond, VA | Quarterly Travel to Long Island, NYRelocation Assistance Available We are seeking a Site Security Automation Lead (SSAL) to serve as the local subject matter expert for industrial automation, controls, and OT systems. This is an Engineering and Automation role not a pure cybersecurity position.
What You’ll Do:
Lead and support Allen-Bradley / PlantPAx automation and controls systems Manage Cap Ex projects from planning through execution Support day-to-day plant operations and ensure system reliability Drive digital transformation and automation initiatives Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team Partner with the Managed Digital Services (MDS) team on OT cybersecurity activities Apply company cybersecurity standards within the plant’s Operational Technology (OT) environment
What We’re Looking For:
Strong background in Automation & Controls Engineering Hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley / PlantPAxProven experience managing Cap Ex engineering projects Understanding of industrial OT cybersecurity and cybersecurity standards Experience supporting manufacturing/industrial operations and automation infrastructure Strong technical leadership, troubleshooting, and project execution skills
Ideal candidate:
An experienced Automation/Controls Engineer who understands OT cybersecurity—not a cybersecurity specialist without hands-on industrial automation experience.
