Lounge Manager
Hours: Monday through Friday 3:00pm to 6:00pm. Additional hours are available.
Overview: The Lounge Manager oversees the daily operation of a members-only lounge serving a consistent membership of more than 600 members. The position focuses on providing excellent service, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, and building positive relationships with members. The manager leads and supports lounge staff, maintains inventory and cleanliness, oversees daily operations, and helps ensure the lounge reflects the values and traditions of the fraternal organization. Because members are regular customers, creating a friendly, familiar, and enjoyable experience is a key part of the role. The Lounge Manager should lead by example, communicate effectively, treat members fairly and respectfully, and work to make the lounge a place where members enjoy spending time with fellow members and friends.
Responsibilities:
  • Open lounge and serve customers daily Monday through Friday
  • Schedule shifts for bartenders
  • Maintain liquor licenses by verifying each bartender have an active liquor license
  • Maintain inventory
  • Place and receive orders from vendors
  • Deliver minor inventory not provided by vendors
  • Advise Board of Directors regarding personnel issues; disciplinary action requirements and recruiting
